The Blessed Mother, Madonna and Child

These items are based on our original painting, named “The Blessed Mother”.  It depicts two halo-glowing figures in ancient garb of a beautiful, beatified and sublime mother, carrying a watchful and loving child in her arms (Virgin Mary and Jesus child). It was painted in a non-traditional style, resembling Eastern Orthodox Iconography. The original was painted with acrylic on canvas, in vivid color nuances of red, green, yellow, black. This work has drawn inspiration from the Italian classic ‘Our Lady of Good Counsel’ by Pasquale Sarullo.
