I can clearly see the influence of Russian and other East European forms of religious iconography in this work. This is a very brave use of the vivid red from her hair across the composition, but then another trademark of your work is your use of hair to symbolize love, death and hope etc.
The shared attributes of one form with another. For me, not so much about duality as multiple possibilities in the same.
The flowing of the curves really emphasises the feminine, the colors are subtle and the elements are well balanced. If I were a painter, this one could be an inspiration for a whole body of work.
Very impressive light power in this art work, For me it’s like the light or knowledge of the old times (symbolized by the Pyramids, Cross) was a gift that given to us by God and till our days kept inside mothers in the form of love for their kids.
Wonderfully composed!! I am personally drawn to the diva of earth I agree with Someguy’s interpretation. It’s not so much of physical duality that I’m referring to…but more so a duality that lies within one entity.
The congruity of human and equine form gives a sense of dancing to the same kinetic rhythm. Where do the lines of the woman and the lines of the horse divide— they are (in a sense) one —unified in the flight, yet distinct. A magical ride.
