Panagia Eleousa, Christian Folk Icon

These items are based on our original painting, named “Panagia Eleousa”. It depicts two halo-glowing figures in ancient garb of a beautiful, beatified mother carrying a child in her arms Virgin Mary and Jesus child, who’s holding a bird on his hand. It was painted in a non-traditional style, resembling Eastern Orthodox Iconography. The original was painted with acrylic on canvas, in soft color nuances of gold, blue, red.
