Presenting our painting, named “A Child is Born”. It depicts three figures in ancient garb holding together; a lovingly father and mother embracing a halo-glowing sleeping infant in their arms Joseph, Mary, Jesus. A colorful background suggests of biblical symbolism. It was painted in a non-traditional style, resembling Eastern Orthodox Iconography. The original was painted as mixed media, in vivid color nuances of reds, yellows, greens.
